Frosty Day

We woke to a hard frost, sunshine and the weather station indicating -6 degrees. So possibly the coldest night of the winter for us, so far.

Other than walking Merlin, I’ve spent time at the allotment pruning an overgrown vine. I inherited it from the previous plot holder and it doesn’t seem to have been cut back for several years. I’ll see if it can provide any grapes of a descent quality. Last year they got mildew because of the lack of airflow around the plant.
