Birthday outing
This evening's outing was to the Great British Circus London Musical Show, in a big tent in Desa Park City, near the girls' school. It was actually much better than I think any of us anticipated. A good two hours with comedy and singing and amazing acts, mainly gymnastics and high wire and quite a lot of pantomime like routines. They also had the motorbikes in the cage, like Top Gear, though we were MUCH closer. It was a very multinational cast and the main female character was played by a Kirsty Whyte - an Aberdeenshire quine? There was an absolute tropical downpour about 30 minutes before it started and we got soaked walking the 5 minutes from Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf. And the noise once were inside. Luckily it had gone off when we came out at 8 p.m. The girls absolutely loved it. There aren't many opportunities to see live performances in Malaysia and this was the first time they had been to anything like this. We came home and had home made pizza and watched the end of the Hogmanay Disney movie.
Earlier, and later, I'd continued sorting pictures. Found Mum's certificate from the Simpson's Study with her birth weight and length. I'm up to 2016 so loads of baby pics of Olivia!
