Cancelled!

The Set up Team arrived at Myrtle at 07.45 this morning to discover an ice rink had appeared overnight.  At 07.50 we had cancelled Parkrun.  So it was an unexpected early return home and a morning given over to taking down Christmas and reorganising the loft.

After lunch I whizzed round the living room with the hoover and duster, replaced bits and pieces which had gone away over Christmas and spent an hour or two in the Drying Ground clearing away brambles.  I'm pleased to report that our elderly neighbour M came home from the hospital none the worse for wear.

I do hope we will get some snow overnight.  The orienteering event we were due to attend tomorrow morning has been cancelled so it would be fun to have a snowy walk.
