Just when you thought it was all over…

It would have been remiss of me not to blip this house which comes up trumps (can we use that word now I wonder?) every year.

A day of getting used to being back home. Shopping, catching up on mail, washing, all that stuff. You know the drill.

Thank you for your relief at the safe conclusion of our journey from Edinburgh yesterday. We are expecting that to be the last time we shall have to make the whole 450 miles!

The weather forecast looks quite intimidating for the next 24 hours, vindicating, if needed, the decision to come back early. I hope you’re not affected by the predicted weather. Blip could be quite interesting tomorrow. Stay safe
