Horizons.  Futuristic style

A morning visit to the market which I found very exciting and ended up over ordering some unknown items in my terrible Spanish.

Then a walk in Turia gardens- it used to be the route of the river, but in 1986, decades after a great flood, it was proposed that the river was turned  into a motorway.  After great opposition from the people of València, a huge garden was created instead which winds its way down to the port.

Towards the port some very new architecture is striking in its contrast to the ancient buildings of the old city.

There’s a couple of extras.

Tonight’s lessons are that I can Wi-Fi images off the camera direct to the iPad (when the SD reader failed).  And Margaritas in Spain are about 800 times stronger than they are at home.
