Looking for lights

Just after midnight I went out to look for the meteor shower. It was too cloudy. All I saw was the lights on the Christmas tree in the greenhouse through the frosted doors.

During the morning I treated the. Front path and pavement which were like spice rinks, made 14 jars of marmalade (then cleaned the hob and kitchen floor); did a further shop; then my wife and I headed out for afternoon drinks and nibbles with friends. Others, including some from my school days, were there and we had a good catch up.

A quiet evening watching the film Carry-On. Not a Sid James one but the current release with Taron Egerton.
