The Slow Road
About 15cm of snow overnight, one of the hazards of living above 900 feet up. Nothing came up our lane today other than Pete the sheep farmer on his tractor. By the time we set off for our walk it was thawing quite fast. We went uphill on one of our local circuits but it took twice as long as usual. At 1,200 feet the snow was quite a bit deeper. I'd forgotten how tiring walking in snow can be.
