Trusting the software
Although we have not had any snow for the last 24 hours or so, neither has the snow begun to melt. Not wishing to put my ability to drive safely in snow to the test, I decided not to use the car today, but to remain nearby.
Finding I had a rarher uninspiring choice of photographs for Blip I decided to let the computer select a picture. According to the software this was the most aesthetically pleasing photograph. I am not sure I agree, but the software must be smarter than me!
The photograph was originally in colour, but I prefer the black-and-white version, as it emphasises the snow still lying on the branches of the trees.
We had lunch at the pub across the road. A very rare event, especially for a Sunday. Was I surprised how quiet it was in the pub? Well I cannot really judge now. Years ago I would have expected Sunday lunch to be much more busy.
