A reluctant subject

A good catchup walk with some friends and their dog this morning. It ended up being quite a hike as my friend walked us up and down the dunes. Due to the erosion there were some baited breath moments as we walked along edges above some quite steep drops - nobody else seemed over bothered so I had face my fear of heights! 
Their dog is a bit of a tease, looking beautifully at me until I reached for my camera and then he was off. I have lots of blurred pictures - this was the best I managed. His owner tells me he has lots of photos of him looking like he hasn't any eyes so at least I managed that whilst we sat outside a cafe for a snack.
In the afternoon I had a decisions to make. I was planning to travel over to Yorkshire to bury my Mum's ashes but eventually decided to postpone it with the weather forecast, although having sat outside for our get together it seemed hard to believe it would be as bad a forecast but the science sounded convincing and I made all the phone calls.
