A Productive Day

……………………………….after a very slow start!

Apparently we did have snow first thing but it was heavy rain and pretty miserable by the time I looked out and it’s rained on and off all day since.

I had 12 hours of free electric so managed to wash and mostly tumble dry two loads of washing; made a sausage and bean casserole and a banana bread. The boys popped round at lunch…ate me out of house and home then took me shopping before disappearing with the car again. I went to sit down after I’d put the banana bread in the oven and decided to put yesterday’s Christmas card together instead of wasting my time browsing social media! This one took me over two hours to do but I did manage a second one in about an hour and a half. I got better at gauging pouring the right amount of diamonds into the tray second time around so spent less time trying to get them back into the little bags! It was very therapeutic but you do need good lighting to see!
