Short Lived Snow

I thought I'd better get out quickly to capture the snow that fell overnight, as the forecast suggested it would not be around for long.  Even as I walked around the snow was already wet and slushy in places, despite the temperature still being around freezing.

Back home the Christmas decorations were packed away for another year.
