The Village

My first venture of the year into the Toon.  Things didn’t go well at my dancing comeback; I was asked to leave the room for five minutes because I had a tendency to do the Conga in a Strathspey.  However, it has to be said, the class acquitted itself quite well in ‘Over the Volcano’.  It’s not been danced for a few years.  At one and the same time it shows why academia shouldn’t devise a Scottish Country Dance.  I got a few messages, and CMC went to the Post Office to meet Gordon the Postie.  Back at HQ we welcomed Phil and Caille who were postponed from yesterday.  I must pay more attention to the Court Circular.  The weather is B awful and this evening’s dancing is cacelled.  The Aga is playing a blinder.
