The Bay
A lovely Sunshine day , chilly, but nice for a walk in Pevensey Bay after a morning of being worried about Joan.
I got a phone call from a neighbour just as I was about to visit Joan..... Kev said that she'd had a fall in the garden & was bleeding; he had picked her up & taken her indoors; she was outside without a coat seeing to her Roses when she slipped & fell.
Her arm looks nasty, so I ran to get my daughter who is a First Aider at the School where she is a Teaching Assistant so I knew she would know what to do; she gently cleaned the wound & bandaged it.
I did call to see if a Nurse could come out, but they said to call 999 or take Joan to the Hospital, Joan said there was no need for that, but it would be good if a nurse to look & bandage the area, luckily my daughter was there; also very lucky Kev heard Joan calling for help.
Once I knew Joan was ok & I felt ok to leave her I went for a walk along the beach at Pevensey Bay, but first I walked through the Allotments there.
Rhubarb is popping up already, no sign of it in my garden.
