He’s a little teapot…

A slow day, punctuated by a few very nice things. It actually felt like a day off, which is quite rare in my experience. Most exciting event was that Dirk, Mitch, Ottawacker Jr. and I all made a foray to the excellent Beijing Legend for dim sum. It was quite nice to be there – and in a rare show of acknowledging my constant patronage, the Seating Technician refused to let me sit in the usual places as it was “too cold”. When I pointed out that Mitch was already there, she shooed him out of his seat and took us to a window table where it was significantly warmer. At one point, she almost smiled. Thence back home, where we had coffee and sweet things – and a glass of the rhum arrangé à la banane, which is not bad, I have to say.
 
Other than that, it is the end of the Christmas holidays for Ottawacker Jr., and he is not too impressed.
