Grey
Growing up on the west coast of Canada, I've come to expect autumn to be fairly dry with rain beginning about October. By Hallowe'en it was often frosty and by year end we were getting excited about ski season about to begin. This December has been decidedly different from those past. It is warmer and rainier than ever with the sun seldom finding it's way through the dense cloud. I found a website which summarizes weather observations at Nanaimo airport. E.G.:
"December 18: Fog, Partial Fog, Patches of Fog, Shallow Fog"
"December 19: Heavy Rain, Rain, Light Rain, Mist"
As Alexander said to his Mum in Judith Viorst's delightful children's book: "I think I'll move to Australia!"
I really am tired of grey!
