Terry’s Clan Night In

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

Terry’s parents invited us all round tonight for dinner.

It was a very nice evening. I always feel a little anxious about hanging out with people I don’t know very well because I feel that the me that I am in those situations is very grown up and frankly, dull!

But it was a really nice night. Terry’s family is lovely and because we have been round before, there wasn’t the awkwardness (for me) of it being the first time so I poked my nose slightly further out of my shell.

I’m not sure they are quite ready for drunken renditions of Neil Diamond songs. That might be a few dinners down the road.
