...the end of the tunnel.

Not if climate change has anything to do with it. 

The parents' home was in one of the severe flood warning areas in the River Soar valley this morning, their phones did the alert thing in the night. A fraught morning making sure they were ok and knew what to do, etc.

Tonight, fortunately, the water is only lapping at the bottom of their drive, so hopefully the night will see it subside. I hope other Blippers in flood risk areas are safe and sound this eve.

Today's snap was taken in Peterborough, which is where I had to be after making sure.
