I started my New Year resolution, which came as a surprise to me, because I hadn’t made any. But yesterday, while browsing YouTube, I’d noticed the ‘Chair Yoga for Oldies’ which I used to do occasionally. So it’s now in my morning routine. Well, it was today…
We then went to a brisk walk round the Links. It was a gorgeous day, the muddy bits still frozen, so Archie was so clean when we came back.
But it was very cold, so I put Archie’s nice tartan coat on. And boy, was he mad! He HATES wearing a coat. He walked along the road grumbling and muttering to himself, swinging his head round to glare at me every so often. He even barked at innocent passers-by. I apologised to one woman who got an earful, saying he was in a bad mood because of the coat. She explained to him that I was only ‘looking after him’. He even barked at every dog he saw on the other side of the road.
The Links were crisp and crunchy underfoot. Just lovely.
JR took Archie out (in his coat) again in the afternoon. I browsed X and my regular newspapers. Some horrifying reports about the mainly Pakistani men grooming young working class girls which have been going on for decades in many towns in England. Elon Musk has added his tuppence worth, and while I don’t think he knows all the facts, he has certainly drawn attention to this latest massive UK scandal.
So it’s no wonder I LOVE to read about those famous comedians - Harry and Meghan. Their latest exploits, constant mis-steps and abject failures are light relief in this rather gloomy world.
