Driech!
When I got downstairs this morning Alan's support worker Vickie was really struggling with a terrible cold. She looked awful! She's done a covid test at 4am but it was negative. There are just so many awful bugs around at the moment. Thankfully Jordan was able to cover her shift so she headed home to her bed.
Kitchen fitter Nick had to pop back to Perth as the radiator had come with the opposite fittings to what he'd specified. He returned in time to have toast with Stornoway black pudding, coffee and a plate of goodies. He says we've looked after him so well, he doesn't want this job to end. I said that was great because later this year we want to replace the bathroom in the front bedroom ensuite and we're hoping he would fit the new one. He said he'd be delighted. It pays to look after excellent tradesmen :-))
Looked through paint charts for the Team's kitchen. Have ordered four samples from Little Greene Co as we are so happy with their paint that we used in our kitchen. I've ordered Aquamarine Light, Aquamarine Mid, Tabernacle and Brighton. Here's hoping one will suit.
Nick didn't get the radiator fully fitted as planned today as there was an issue with our heating system. Our local plumber who knows the system well is popping in tomorrow morning to sort it out. Other than finishing fitting the radiator, laying the flooring and a final clean, I'm not sure what else is left to be done in the kitchen, so all being well it should be finished tomorrow :-))
I am keeping everything crossed ;-)
