Tiny Tuesday ...

... Soft.

For Christmas I had put a crochet kit (for beginners!) in my Amazon wishlist as I've been admiring all the lovely crochet projects done by fellow blippers.  So I wasn't all that surprised when I opened said gift on Christmas morning.

What did surprise me was the fact that it doesn't look all the easy ... even though it's for beginners like me!  So I've spent a lot of time in the past few days watching lots of YouTube videos.  We had also gone to Walmart last week so that I could get a skein of yarn to practice with.  

What you're seeing here is one of my practice 'projects' ... which is really just a small crocheted piece in the soft yarn we purchased.  Making the initial chain stitch is relatively easy.  It's when I need to add rows that I'm struggling with.  That and holding the yarn properly ... which is supposed to be tight in your left hand.  Hopefully as I do more it'll get easier.
