The tobacco leaf…

Be amazed at how big it looks in a pic taken with my shiny new iPhone 16 Pro Max. OK I exaggerate a bit but I am delighted with it even though I’ve just taken 2 photographs so far. The weather today was yet again ridiculously heavy rain and blowing a hooley so not even a new phone/camera could tempt me to keep wandering around town.

And today I have a fun fact that is relevant to telephones…
Mercury ( and the Roman equivalent Hermes) are the gods of many things including financial gain, commerce, eloquence, messages, communication (including divination), travellers, boundaries, luck, trickery and thieves. Somewhere in there that must make them the Gods of telephones and in particular iPhone 16 Pro Max phones!
