Happiness Is….!!!???

When a large parcel like this arrives at the door…!!!
Ooooh Happy Days…
It’s -3 degrees here at the moment …with freezing fog and icy surfaces..so my new box of yarn couldn’t have arrived at a better time..
I am of course ‘itching’ to get started on my newest project…which will be that huge blanket….these are the colours I’ve chosen …a little different from the pattern I have…but I like them..!!
There’s also 2 balls of Pom-pom Yarn in there for another baby blanket.
And as you can see Mel had to check it all out.
My friend gave me a voucher for this yarn shop for my birthday last year…so I’ve taken great pleasure in eventually spending it having decided at last what I will make.!! Thanks T..
I have numerous other projects on the go ( as always)….and this blanket is so large it will probably take me a lot of the year to complete but it’s an easy one to pick up and leave down as I choose!

Extra is yesterday’s lunch….buttermilk pancakes with natural yogurt and raspberry compote from last years fresh garden raspberries…very tasty.!
