I hoped that the morning sunshine would thaw the icy paths. I needed some groceries* so my plan was to go to Tesco first. If I could get what I wanted I’d carry on walking to Waterhead and get a bus back. Success so I didn’t need plan B.

It was early afternoon when I headed out and the sun had gone. It was still slippery in parts but I was slow and careful.

Should have left the heating on while I was out because I got very cold later in the afternoon and ended up under a duvet with a hot water bottle.

Some good news this evening. I’ve found the front door key that went missing three months ago. It was in the spare bedroom . . . I was looking for something else at the time. I was sure it had to be in the house.

* You might wonder why when I had a grocery delivery yesterday. I don’t put vegetables (or bread) on my online orders as I like to see the quality and for bread check the best before dates.
