Moon watching

Encouraged both by the various sighting of the aurora over the past 12 months, and by a couple of  inspiring views of the milky way from Feorlean on recent winter nights I  hope to do a little more astrophotography this year, if I can eventually get one of my cameras to connect well with a telescope.

Tonight, I did get some clear shots of  the moon, though with the Nikon I have used for this before.   The view (alas camera less so far)  through the telescope was much , much closer - so watch this space (hopefully for not too much longer).
