Near Ashness landings

ByBrian & I spent a couple of hours in the morning working the shore just south of the Ashness landing stage and round the bay there. It was pretty cold, but the light was fantastic. Was interesting how cloud free the sky to the north of the lake was, and how cloudy the Borrowdale end was. Our location mid-lake gave us the choice of either. 

I did love the frozen margins on the shore, but perhaps not a day for swimming!
