What I've Done

By JohnGravett

Bassenthwaite morning

I had agreed to give a lecture to the U3A photography group at Embleton this morning. As I drove past Bassenthwaite Lake I was close to texting that I couldn't get there. (Not really) - Fortunately I was early enough to have 15 minutes spare, so I parked up and managed about 40 photos before I had to return to the car and continue my journey.

The lecture went well - I think - the first half was called "Angles of view, perspective, focal length, depth of field and all that confusing stuff ..... Made Simple"!  I'm not sure all of that can be made truly simple, but I think I explained some of the theories and pitfalls.

The second half was an abridged version of my "Lakeland Perspective" talk for this coming year, now available to book for camera clubs, both in person, and by zoom.
