IT'S DRIED MEALWORMS

Its been another freezing cold day.  Not sure of the exact temp here as my indoor/outdoor thermometer has given up the ghost. A new one has been ordered.  According to the app on my phone its been below freezing all day. I have stayed indoors apart from popping into the garden to feed the birds. 

I had an Amazon delivery  -- delivered by Royal Mail.  The poor quality Amazon box was open and Royal Mail had put it inside a large plastic bag.  When I checked the contents there were 12 items -  there should have been 13.   A small kitchen timer was missing.  It must have fallen out of the open box unnoticed.  Got straight on to Amazon and they have refunded the purchase price.  I have re-ordered another timer.  

One of the items that was delivered was a tub of dried mealworms.  My garden birds love them.  I was wondering what to blip for Abstract Thursday and decided to do some processing on a shot of the mealworms.  I have since found out there is an optional  theme - " new beginnings"  ... but I'm just sticking with my original image.  Thanks to Ingeborg for hosting

Didn't go to slimming group this evening.  Far too cold to venture out ... and Im going to try and get a bit of the Christmas/New Year weight off before I go back. ( Not that ive started to even try and lose weight yet ... but hopefully I will get my motivation back soon.

Watched the last ever episode of Vera this evening.  It was good and the ending was perfect.
