Gondolas...

You can't come to Venice and not blip the gondolas.

A hot day today, 32 deg apparently although it felt hotter.

After breakfast we went for a wander through the back streets of Venice up to and over the Rialto bridge (where Mrs Mozo gave us a history lesson on the bridge!) further on up towards the station with lots of stops for photos, drinks and ice cream.
We then got a water boat back down to the hotel for a rest, however we got the one going the other way so didn't come back down the Grand canal as expected. Good to see other parts of Venice though.

Dinner was spaghetti with fresh local clams, yum!
Goretex you'll be happy to know they also had black squid ink spaghetti with cuttlefish... :-)
