Home (Day 3532)

I was woken at 630 this morning by a nurse (who turns out to be my neighbour) checking my blood pressure and temperature and sticking some more antibiotics into me. I dozed until 730 when the hustle and bustle of the ward started.
I was feeling a lot better and managed to eat some toast and drink coffee. A doctor came and took blood from me, then checked my throat, and said there would be more news when the ward round took place. The ward round happened around 930 and they were pleased enough with my progress that, once they had sorted out my meds and removed the cannula from my arm I would be able to go home.
The cannula removal hadn't happened by time C came to check up on me hours later. She got someone to removed the cannula and my meds and discharge letter showed up very quickly afterwards.
I was collected by my beautiful wife and taken home to a very happy Sigyn. I sorted out the boiler fault and got the heating on then spent the afternoon resting on the couch.
I am much better than I was, but not fully fit yet. It will take a few days.
