.........and not a drop to drink .

We have been putting water out each day as well as topping up the feeders, the blackbirds haven't found the sultanas yet though.

The highlight of the day was a snowy walk in our favourite place near the Wainwright stone. Bitterly cold at first but the air gradually warmed up , the sunshine effect I guess. We did a bit of work on the pen , cut back some buddlea and picked a few brussel sprouts. N.C did some pruning of the apple tree, there is more to be done. Otherwise its been a simple day of pottering. It seems a bit indulgent!
