It was the day for it
I had a number of tasks today. Packing away the decorations into cupboards/ attic; shopping; being a taxi driver for my wife; church emails; tax form completion; etc. The overriding one was to undertake the annual freezer tidy up and cataloguing the contents.
With the temperature at or below zero (it was -5 at 09:30) it meant I could leave everything outside without worrying about things thawing. My litmus test was the ice cubes in trays - in various shapes from Scottie dogs to Christmas trees to grouse - which I kept on top of the boxes. They remained frozen all day. My other worry - that of raiding foxes or cats - did not materialise.
By the end of the day everything was completed and I had a list of items, what and where they were, and their dates. In between I got several of the other tasks progressed.
On another positive note, after the aches yesterday and this morning I am able tonight to put pressure on the teeth/jaw without wincing and think I’ll be able to chew on that side tomorrow. Thank you for the good wishes.
