Female Blackbird

She’s been around in the garden when I’ve taken other bird portraits this week but never in decent light.  So this was my first opportunity to catch her in some even light, even though she’s playing hide and seek with the twig.

I’ve also been trying for a Robin portrait but so far no luck.  He too has been around but moving quickly from place to place and often in poor light.  The contrast between the snow and the garden shrubs is not proving easy when it comes to exposure.
