2,000 PIECES - NOW THAT'S SILLY!
Hello Lovely Blippers,
We decided we would be really kind today and help Mr. HCB doing his 2,000 piece jigsaw puzzle, given to him by a friend at Christmas, but then the HCBs decided they would go shopping, so we just thought we would get on with it. Mr. HCB has never done a puzzle with this many pieces so it is rather silly, but then we are the Silly Saturday Gang and it is Silly Saturday and we know that dear Admirer would giggle if she could see us all busily sorting the pieces for him.
When they came back, Mr. HCB was amazed that we had managed to sort out so many of the pieces but he said he was very grateful and that we had been extremely kind. Mrs. HCB said that she would make us hot chocolate and marshmallows as a reward and there may even be a biscuit.
You can see how sunny it is in the conservatory and even Mrs. HCB was happy that it was so warm out there, so we are all going to sit there and have our hot drinks. Mind you, they said it wasn’t so warm outside - and was about -4°C when they first went out. However, we have just checked and the conservatory temperature is 20°C so just nice for us to sit there and enjoy some pleasant chat with each other. However, you can see that there is still a lot of frost, and even a light sprinkling of snow outside and Zappi and Penny both wanted to go out, but we persuaded them that staying in and having some delicious hot chocolate would be a better idea and they eventually agreed.
Just a quick reminder to BE KIND - but we tell you so often, you probably don’t need to be reminded now, but in this cold weather, just look out for one another, and particularly if you have older neighbours, who perhaps can’t get out to do their shopping.
Take care, stay warm and cosy and enjoy the rest of your weekend.
Love to you all from
The Silly Saturday Gang xxx
P.S. You might be surprised to know that Mr. HCB actually volunteered to be in this shot - but we think there was an ulterior motive - he was worried that we might knock over some of the sorted pieces so he wanted to keep an eye on us!
