Nature's Wedding Dress #3 or 4

It's been a few years since our next door neighbours' Silver Birch tree was wearing her dress.  At 8am when I took this photo from the open bedroom window (Mr HB not impressed) there was a blanket of hoar frost everywhere and very misty but by 12 noon, the bride (tree) had shed her dress even though it's still -4°.  I think I'll brave the elements and go for a walk by the canal and see how those ducks are faring.


Thanks to everyone who sent good wishes to our friend AR who fell out of his loft yesterday. He's still in hospital but his wife says he's  'comfortable'?  He's a brave lad.
