Job done

I thought we might have freezing fog today but we have escaped that and had another bright, sunny but freezing day.

I went out again to look at the ice patterns on the greenhouse windows, some of you have kindly commented on the ones I have used as extras, it occurred to me that if the forecast is right they will soon be gone so I’ve chosen one for my blip today to show the continuing freeze.

I decided I wanted to get the church Christmas tree done before we’re back into the busy swing of things next week, even though church isn’t open tomorrow. Chris called in to put the heat on on his way out to the shops and when he got back we had a coffee and then walked up the village. Still really bad. Our Close is the worst but in the other estate roads that have been gritted we could walk in the road. There are still lots of untouched Christmas decorations around including the village tree.
Got the tree and decs down and away and then helped Chris put the crèche back. We were done and home again within an hour.
Now starting my third jigsaw of the year!

Well done to blipper Sgwarnog who got to the opening of Bradford’s City of Culture in City Square last night. I saw some footage on the local news and I’m pleased it has gone well. I’m looking forward to getting to some of tge events and singing at St Georges Hall in September.
