Gulls this time

A hazyish sort of day with milky blues and touches of pink and a little wamer.  Bantry Bay looking very beautiful. We stopped off at one of the piers just to take in the views. The main is looking out towards Whiddy Island, population around 30 but expands in the summer. The extra is looking toward the mainland - another private jetty and behind is Bantry House, population 3 ( I think) but expands in the summer.

Lots of interesting comments re loons/great northern divers - today  a couple of low flying gulls. There was also a cormorant but it dived.

The pre-house sitters cleaning has started, Himself de-frosted the fridge and I hacked back the monstera in the conservatory and had a general de-clinker.
