Bedside diary

I always ask for one of these at Christmas. Samuel Pepys it is not but merely a way of writing down what I’ve done that day mostly patchwork and household tasks. It helps me think I’ve achieved something that day and I might write goals for the following day as well as being alerted to upcoming meetings and birthdays. Not for rereading by me or anyone else as it’s too mundane. I like to look at the pictures as I go.
My main diary is a small student one(I was a teacher) which lives in my handbag and we have a joint calendar hanging in the kitchen.
