More than child proof

This morning I had to open this box of washing capsules. I followed the instructions as it's a child proof box. I couldn't open it, I tried but it wouldn't budge. I ended up having to destroy the box with my special gadget. I do get fed up with child proof openings as my hands can't open them. 
I ventured out today and walked to the shops. It was lovely,  the pavements were still very snowy but I did have my walking pole. After lunch I drove to Appley Bridge and walked along the canal. It was beautiful. I met a lady (The councillor) on the bridge putting up posters from the fire brigade telling people not to go on the ice. Last night a teenager did go on the icy canal and she said it was scary.  Thankfully it didn't end in tragedy.
