Last of the snow

The pavement was so slippy I didn't dare go out to church so I watched online. I knew I was going out late morning giving the day plenty of time to warm up a bit. I met John (my brother) and Alison on the village car park as my road was still very icy and I drove to Waddington to my younger sister's house. It was nice to meet up all together, Pete and Kate were already there when we arrived. We had a lovely roast dinner. Marty had done a quiz for us which was entertaining. So nice for us all to get together. This is the view from their back garden. 
The motorway was shut when we came home but we still had a good journey on our detour. 
The snow is thawing at last, that's a relief as I have a busy week.
