A Very Sociable Day!

First - Coffee morning in the Village Hall - raising money for Craven Wildlife Rescue - they do a grand job rescuing injured animals! Raffle, other games and tea and biscuits

Second - a memorial lunch at the mooring Club House. It was so nice to see Lisa whose partner suddenly died a couple of months ago. There were tears and chatting and laughter. Bless her. She has sold their boat. :-(

Third - home for a nap then off to the village hall again for an evening of boogieing to the local band. Also to raise more money for the same charity.
It was a great evening and the dance floor was full. 
We played ‘Stand up Bingo’. Everyone has to stand and if a number is called on your card you have to sit down. Last person standing is the winner.
Raffle prizes galore - we didn’t win. But loads of money was made. 
All in all a brilliant day.
