North and South
My walkies this morning with Bella.
The main is the railway lines heading north to Carlisle
The first extra is heading south to Leeds.
The second extra is looking over the railway lines to Hellifield village.
It was a beautiful morning but we couldn't go far as it is still so slippy.
When I got through the level crossing Bella was pulling me on the ice to get home (her anxiety) so I had to let her off the lead and I said, 'Go home,
round the back!' When I got there she was sitting at the back door. It's only a short distance 100 yards but I was worried she might meet another dog as she can be unpredictable with girl dogs in particular.
This morning Frank left early to get the boat heated up and cleaned a bit on the outside. Guess what - the man didn't turn up! B*##&y time waster!
Anyway we will stay on the boat tomorrow night as there is a lunchtime do at the clubhouse and it means Frank can have a pint or two. By then it will be toasty warm.
I have spent the morning sketching and trying out loose painting.
Something I don't find easy as I'm a bit of a perfectionist but I'll keep trying.
Before we go to the Club House do tomorrow it's coffee morning at the village hall. Hosted by Craven Wildlife Rescue to raise funds. I found childrens books reduced in The Works yesterday so bought 5 for raffle prizes. They are quite apt as the stories are about Rescuing animals.
An early Blip today. Keep cosy Blippers and don’t slip!
