Calm Before The Storm
Figuratively that is, room to tidy, bed to make, additional shopping items to purchase and excitement building, Mrs S’s baby is coming home.
A 6 foot plus bearded baby that is Joshua coming to spend almost a couple of weeks with us, lots of accrued leave to use up. We will be glad to see him but will miss Tiana. Next time Josh is deployed perhaps we will have Tiana without Josh.
Lots of things already “in the air” whilst he is here, mostly revolving around rugby and I am expecting that once Cornwall Referees Society find out he’s back there will be a flurry of invitations to referee.
It remains bitterly cold, although not as bad as other parts of the country and our open fire has been lit almost every day resulting in our stock of logs and coal dwindling.
I quite liked the subject of today’s photo, I thought the owls face expressive.
