Inca and Tommy

It was still very cold and frosty today, I think it will start to warm up by a couple of degrees from tomorrow onwards. The good thing about the icy conditions is that it is not muddy, when you walk in the muddy areas in the woods it has frozen hard so Xena stays very clean!

This morning we went out for breakfast with Tommy and Inca to a local cafe. Its very popular, particularly on a Sunday, but we managed to get a table. I enjoyed coconut yoghurt with granola and stewed fruit. They then left for Cambridge, Inca had to get back to some cells and her work. Tommy will work from there this week and returns home at the end of the week for his birthday. I took this photo of them before they left.

Adam has arrived safely in San Diego, collected his new car (a cute second-hand yellow Jeep Wrangler, perfect for loading up the surfboard to go to the beach and the golf clubs to play at Torrey Pines! He spent the first night in his new apartment without any furniture, so he slept on the floor! He sensibly did not want to waste money on a hotel room. His IKEA order arrives today so at least tonight he will have a bed, and he starts his new job tomorrow.

I have packed for my photography workshop in the Norfolk broads - its only 2 nights so I did not need to take much other than very warm clothing for those chilly early morning sunrises. I will leave home at about 7am tomorrow, and as Gavin is at work, Fiona is taking Xena out each day. Fingers crossed for decent conditions for some good photography!
