Photo opportunity

It had to be seized on the way to choir practice on Saturday afternoon, although as I suspected it doesn't do justice to the light (which has nicely highlighted the power lines running right across the foreground!). Better in large.

I had a bit of a scramble in the morning as I realised I'd somehow forgotten to bake a cake. It's inconceivable to show up at choir without one, so I swiftly rustled up yet another carrot cake, which went down very well, to the extent that there was almost none left for Sunday. We had a productive day -- the extra rehearsals have definitely helped -- but Lord this programme is difficult! Luckily there is one easy song, so Florence has us sing that if she thinks we might get demoralised.
