Red sky in the morning

The wind howled in the tree outside the window all night, and I was up at dawn for another day of choir practice (full disclosure: dawn is around 8 a.m., so I wasn't exactly an early riser). The pink glow on the mountain from the sunrise peeking over the hill (behind me when I took this photo) was stunning, so I quickly stopped to grab a photo. You may spot the same pylon -- this photo was taken from the same spot.

A full day's work in a freezing room again (the heating was on but largely ineffective). Even singing wasn't enough to keep us warm. I was glad to get home to a cosy room and a blazing fire. The temperature is around 2C, but the wind chill factor is very high.
