The Brotton Wheel

Less cold today, although when we did go out early afternoon there was quite a bit of snow laying still along the road towards Brotton, in places where the sun doesn’t shine!

We popped out to B&M for some bird feeding odds and ends. Had a quick bite to eat and returned home.

I’d seen this sculpture before, but thought it looked suitably bronzed in the afternoon sun, so stopped on the way back to get my blip. In extras is the write up from Stephen Iredale, the sculptor. "God bless the toilers underground"
