Studying hard (not)

Spent most of the day up in Greenwich meeting with fellow directors of our small digital technology consultancy company. Some exciting plans for this year, we'll just have to make sure they come to fruition.

Called in at Makro while there. Not worth making a special trip up to Greenwich to go there but feasible if you're going up there anyway. You have to know your prices when shopping at Makro as the assumption is that because you are buying in bulk that it will be cheaper and it is not always the case.

I bought a case of red wine and a case of rose wine, both of which were about £1.80 a bottle cheaper than in a well known supermarket, two huge bottles of detergent, 2 large boxes of dishwasher tablets (BOGOF) and some cheeses, all of which were good value compared with that well known supermarket. Quite an eclectic mix I think you'll agree.

Back home I spent more time preparing for the signalbox passing out turn which seems to be such heavy weather at the moment. Stuff is just not sinking in!

Second anniversary of my retirement. Retired and loving it still applies, but my hasn't time gone quick?
