Frost Framed, Aylesford

We decided to forgo our usual early morning run as it was so frosty and bone achingly cold that we thought a local photographic safari might be a better option. We ventured on our way suitably kitted out against the baltic weather with the intention of capturing the fog that had also descended but by the time we reached the recreation ground it had lifted to reveal a sparkling, icy world that looked stunning in the soft sunshine. With the main image I just loved this small, almost balletically curved tree so that by using the sub frame of the goalpost and stanchion I could highlight its' understated beauty. The first extra was also taken nearby, this time using the tennis court and it's net to frame the other aspects of the composition. On the way back we went via the river path and that's where I took the last extra. I liked the irony of the warning on the sign when it looked as if it  was slowly tilting toward falling into the water itself!
