Snowy stomp

I had a longish lay this morning then got up and had breakfast while Cathie was in the shower, and started reading my new book from Eon and Ali for my Christmas.
I can’t tell you how long it’s been since a book has interested and captured me. I think this one might. :)
After walking Jodie and Scout, Cathie, Scout and I, all booted, headed up to Grassington for a snowy stomp. Across the moor and down through the woods.
It was beautiful.
We have had the snow for a full week now and temperatures have not risen above-3 that whole time. I have loved it sooo much. On several levels. People have to slow down - a good thing to do; it has been dry the whole time so it’s easy to know what to wear; everything looks beautiful, the clear skies have given beautiful stars at night and blue sunny skies during the day and lastly, it helps to kill off all the bugs that have been going round!
I just wish we could have two weeks of it.
