Bauhinia tomentosa

We had a very lazy start to the day and then got stuck into jobs that needed attention around the house and garden.

We had planned to go out for a Thai meal but yet another downpour made us decide otherwise and got a delivery to the house instead.

We finally managed a seat in the garden about 4pm when I noticed these blooms. Its much larger counterpart at the bottom of the garden has flowered consistently for years but it’s the first time for this one up at the top wall which was great to see.

We enjoyed “Trouble with the Curve” before bed beckoned. And just like that Sunday was over.
